The Wild rabbits calendar below is our most recent addition to our nature calendars collection at Purplebearspics our Zazzle store. This calendar is a collection of wild rabbit photographs taken in our garden and in our walks at a local wildlife refuge.
This year seems to have been a great year for rabbits, since we have seen a lot more than we usually do. The ground cover at the wildlife refuge almost seems like a jungle, making perfect spots for rabbits to hide and stay out of danger.. Whitetail Deer Buck in Velvet Photo
We took this whitetail deer buck in velvet photo about a week ago. The buck was standing in a swampy pond eating the leaves off of the tree above his head. We figured he was about 100 plus yards away and was kind enough to let us get a few pictures of him. As far as we could see, he appeared to be a pretty big deer. He also appears to have some type of non-typical rack. This photo can also be seen on our shop page at Pictorem.
